We always wanted to be like gangster rappers.

And gangster rappers need a gangster rapper video, right?

Why? To be honest, we just wanted to be as cool as these people on the internet, posing in front of expensive cars with a bossy behavior.

Maserati was meant to be a „normal“ Woofa House track until we had the video concept of the song. It was more like a joke when we said „let‘s do a video like this“, but as everyone liked the idea, we decided to go all in with it and had the craziest two hours ever brainstorming the concept for the track.

The lyrics were written within 5 minutes (Julius was sitting on the toilet when he had the idea). The topic „Maserati“ felt good, because both of us love Maseratis, woofa kid also liked it and it was the only car we could borrow for free.

It was crazy how much happened to this song since woofa kid sent us the first demo of it. We rented a studio and spent 12 hours shooting the video. At the end of that day we were super exhausted and tired but we all knew it was worth it because we were about to bring something brand new, something nobody has ever brought to the world before.

The Light was born in late 2019 when Julius was playing around with some tech house samples. The track originally was meant to be a solo track by us. We were just working on the first version of the track, when we went to Rene's (R!GO) place, had some beer and played music to each other. When we showed him the track, everyone felt the groovy, housey vibe and we instantly continued working on it together. After some months passed by, we decided to release it as a collab and are very happy with the concept, we created around the lyrics and the track.

So Sexy was created during the first COVID-19 Lockdown in Austria. We were spending all of our time at home and worked a lot on new music. Julius found the sample with the vocals and we knew, we had to use them. We were super excited about the track, but as we showed it to our team everyone was like "cool, but not good enough". So we did about three more versions until everyone said: "this is it!"

After we founded Minted Records, we realized, that we wanted to create a concept around the track and started gathering ideas with our team. After discarding most of them, we came up with the idea of an abstract, sexual video visualizer with silhouettes in a big, dark room. We were super late with shooting the video and also changed the cover picture two weeks before the release, because the shots of the video were so sick.

We were super proud of the project because it was the first release on Minted Records and also the first release of ours, where had a whole creative concept for the song.
